Review summary
We were so excited to go on the inaugural cruise on this brand new ship for our 25th wedding anniversary. However, once on board, we continued to encounter problems throughout the 10-day cruise. It was obvious that the staff was still in training because service was poor in many areas (especially in the speciality restaurants and our room steward.) In one restuarant, we waited over an hour for our food (which had a set menu!) and when it never came, we left. Throughout the entire cruise, we had issues with our air conditioning in our room. The cruise was in July in the eastern Mediterranean so it was very hot and humid. We expected that a brand new ship would have good air conditioning but that was not the case!!! We continuously complained and all they gave us was a fan!!! At one point, it was 86 degrees in our room - pretty hard to sleep when it is that hot! Although the ship is new and beautiful, they still have very many kinks to work out before I would ever recommend them to anyone else!!!Ship experiences
