Too much up selling!  We felt like everything had to be bought as an additional package. Even while dining, people came to the table to sell premium dining. Pool decks were dangerous with water ponding - almost slipped and fell several times. Cabin was ok. Dining room was excellent. Buffet nothing special. Not sure I would consider Royal Caribbean again.

Amazing Trip! by Ceatravels

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

we had a great time! The staff was super friendly, the ship was very clean and the cruise director was hilarious! I highly recommend getting a drink or two from R Bar. The bartenders knew what they were doing and were very funny!

We had a great time! by LisaGK

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)

There is so much to do on this boat.  The kids (high school & college kids) loved the Flowrider.  The service is also really good, both in the dining room and cabin.

Aruba Curacao Bonaire Haiti by jerriman1

The trip to Curacao. Beautiful island great tour. Also the dining room. The waiters Sonny and Natalia were top notch. On a rating of one to ten they rate ten plus! I would like to suggest the dining room dress code be more strictly enforced.

RCCL No More! by pvirgadamo

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

While the ship and amenities were good the food selection on this cruise was terrible. We thought you are supposed to gain weight on a cruise and not lose it! This was the general consensus of passengers we spoke with. One passenger described the food as "revolting". This included the main dining room, Windjammer, Johnny Rockets and all specialty restaurants. It did not matter where we dined, the food was not good at every location. As Diamond Plus members and frequent cruisers, we have seen this decline over the past few years on all cruises we have taken on RCCL. We have experienced a much better food selection on Carnival. We have decided we will no longer be cruising RCCL in the future.

Worst Cruise ever by tdh091012

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

The waiter staff in the saffaire dining room was the best part of the cruise. Socorro and Sravan were our servers.  Other than that it was the worst cruise we have every been on.....

The crew on the Navigator of the seas were very friendly and always willing to help you. We enjoyed our dinning room servers, Wendale, Norbert and Jason our wine guy. They always had a smile on their face making sure your food was good

Betty & Ron's Cruise by RonMc

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends

Relaxing on the ship and enjoying time with our best friends. Piano player in the lounge was great every night that he played. Shows in the theater were good.

Food was the worst of any cruise we have been on. Our problem was the selection was not what we expected from RCCL.

Cleanliness by kmenard

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

The ship was very clean, the suite cabin was very nice.  We appreciated the twice a day clean up of the room and the lovely towel animals let each night on the bed.  We were impressed with the constant cleaning of the ship.

First cruise by melliott716

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple

My partner and I decided to try cruising, and Royal Caribbean out of Miami was fantastic.  The only bad experience was check-in (extremely long lines outside in Miami heat/humidity). Onboard the staff was great, the food was excellent, and we enjoyed meeting new people at dinner and in the Schooner bar for the trivia games.

BIG CHANGE SINCE THE LAST TIME I WAS ON THE NAVIGATOR!!! by QueenBlueyBluey

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

And the changes were not necessarily for the best!

I love Royal Carribean but they remodeled the ship since the last time I was on.  The Promenade now has display cases showing the items they'll be selling throughout the trip.  Trust me, people know about the sales with the need of the display cases.

They were all about selling dinners at their restaurants.  We had one lady ask us to book a dinner at the Japanese restaurant.  We said, very politely, no thank you.  She said "Why?  Don't you like sushi?"  WHAT?????  I don't think anyone has to explain why or why not they want to eat there.

For the gratuities, it used to be that you handed you waiter, assistant waiter, stateroom attendant a voucher for your gratuities.  That was a very nice way to thank them and to give them a little extra if you would like.  NOW IT IS JUST AUTOMATICALLY ADDED TO YOUR BILL!!!  (which I actually think it's illegal to just automatically charge my card without my permission!)  I do not remember seeing anywhere that the gratuities would be added automatically and I certainly didn't sign anything for them to do that!

The Santa parade...lame!  I've never seen sadder looking elves.

The activities staff...with exception of two (the Scotish girl and a British girl without glasses) were rude and had not excitement.  The one staff member was late for an activity.  You could see that she was sleeping because of the fabric marks on her skin!

The best thing I did was not a Royal Caribean  thing.  My first excursion I've ever taken in all of my cruises was to SNUBA!!!!!  Best activity ever!

I love Royal Caribean but  the changes they made to the Navigator are very sad!

Ah, yes. by MerryChristmas

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean

3 ports of call.  Labadee : relaxing in the sun on the beach!  San Juan:  I have to spend a few days here in the future! Most awesome beaches, bike paths I am yearning to ride on, the sights and history!  St.Martin/St  Maarten are wonderful! take a tour through both and check out beaches with jets landing from overhead. and try the pastries!

Plenty to keep you busy on board.  very friendly ,  attentive ,  helpful crew and staff.  love the rock wall, flow rider and ice rink!  pools and hot tubs, shows and art sales!

See you again next year.

Good trip but busy ports by cubancruz60

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

The service on the ship was excellent.  The food was good but the variety has declined from previous trips.  It was a good itinerary but it coincided with 7 other ships in Puerto Rico, which made the place insane.  In St. Maarten, there were 5 ships in, which made it busy.

Bad rating by jalcurejr

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean

This cruise was bad from the over two hour wait in showers on three lines until the departure on the last line.  The dining room food was terrible.  However, the service from the crew was the best they could do under the circumstances.

First Cruise by brendawolfswink

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

We made our reservations very last minute but things went very smoothly. We had no idea what to expect. Outside of the boarding process not going well due to the port overbooking. The staff made learning the ropes easy and our trip very relaxing and enjoyable. Just what we were looking forward to.

Navigator of the Seas Cruise by PatriceJohnson

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean

On-boarding to the ship was TERRIBLE.  There was NO communication as to WHY everyone had to stand in rain and then hot sun to wait for HOURS to board the ship.  There was a makeshift port it seems created for this departure as though this was an afterthought. Seniors and those with young children had to wait in this brutal wait.  The Food sucked in both the Windjammer and Dining room.  Food left out way to long and offerings very limited.  It appeared we were being forced to pay EXTRA if we wanted good food by paying for the restaurant dining which is NOT acceptable given the amount of money being spent to cruise.
