Review summary

This was our first cruise and booked last minute to "tide us over" for our Thanksgiving cruise. We really did like the entire experience. If we had to sail this particular ship again we would- 1) book a balcony 2) book 1 specialty meal 3) explore the ship more

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Really would give it a 4.5 -El loco fresh was not good at all-the carnitas had no flavor and the chips tasted stale. The Promenade had great coffee and ice cream, but the "food" yuck-premade sandwiches and rubbery pizza. The buffet was great! Had very good selection and very tasty. And of course the Washy Washy guy LOVE HIM! We only had 1 dinner in the main-so do no feel can give an honest review. Our Key lunch and breakfast were delicious. The drink options-yup 5/5.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We spent most of our time at the pools, and were pleased they were not too crowded, and could always find sun chairs.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We were shocked to find an ice skating rink on a cruise ship-the shows-in our opinion, were very good. The musicians were entertaining and talented.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everybody was very nice, helpful and informative.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
This was our fist cruise so do not have anything to compare.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The cabin was perfectly fine. the smell in the hall was not so great-the staff and guest services were very attentive when we said something, but it never fully went away-(suspect our cabin was over something ......)

Ship tip

Bring your own shampoo, conditioner, body and hand soaps. They only have bar soap in the cabin bathroom.

Ensenada, Mexico

I stayed on the ship-my husband took a stroll to get real tacos-I do not feel like I missed anything at all. I feel like they could skip this port and go to Cabo or Puerto Vallarta instead.
