Review summary

Overall, I would say our first Cruise was an absolute success and we wouldn't hesitate to book with Royal Caribbean again in the future.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
It was fantastic, the entire process was seamless and with the "Key" benefits, we were checked in within no time at all.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food was abnsolutely delicious and exceeded my expectations easily. Using the "My Time" dining, we were set up with a fantastic table and our waiter(s) there were a joy to work with on a daily basis whenever we went in for dinner. They were always up beat and genuinely happy to be there. The food, even though it was complimentary, was very well cooked and you could tell there was honest effort put into the food and it's presentation. Not only did it look great, it was absolutely delicious and was much better than I expecfted.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
The onboard activities were fun, but by the third day we did feel like we run out of things to do and the activities got a bit repetitive since it felt like the same activities kept showing up over and over.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Fantastic, they were all very good and enjoyable to just lay back and listen to on the daily.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The staff were an easy 10/10. Every single one of the staff members were very welcoming and quickly jumped on any request.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Ship was very clean and there was never a moment where I thought something was too "dirty" or needed to be touched up.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Cabin was clean and spacious. Loved it and the view every morning/night really kept us at awe.

Ship tip

Expect things to get a bit "shaky" at times and to feel like you're a bit off, especially if you're a new sailor, but other than that, you should be fine.

Ports of call

San Pedro (Los Angeles), California

5 out of 5
Port was well maintained and easy to navigate

Ensenada, Mexico

3 out of 5
Visited La Bufadora but our guide was not the best. It felt as though she was not too confident and didn't really get us into the tour as much as I wanted. She also dropped us off near La Bufadora, or the market where it is and didn't tell us how to get to La Bufadora, we just kinda stumbled on it ourselves.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
the times disembarkation was flawless and we were off the ship in no time.
