Review summary

Nice and fun short getaway with a friend. We had a great time on the ship.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
It went fairly smoothly, considering how many people were there to get on the ship.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food was great in the buffets and main dining room. We did not go to a specialty restaurant.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Used the whirlpool on the cold, windy day at sea. It was not very hot, just lukewarm.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Loved the trivia sessions, the ice skating show, adults only game show, the Showgirls show and Bingo session. All of the dancers were amazing!

Children's Programs

No kids.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our room steward Dee was wonderful! All of our waiters and assistant waiters were great as well. The cruise director was multi talented and very energetic. We had a wonderfully relaxing massage in the spa.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Great layout and the ship was very clean and well maintained.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Very nice junior suite, we had lots of room to move around, a large walk in closet, lots of storage and a great sized balcony.

Ship tip

Be friendly! You can meet some great people, even on a short cruise like this one.

Ports of call

San Pedro (Los Angeles), California

Ensenada, Mexico

We did an excursion to La Bufadora blowhole. Seeing the blowhole was great, our guide was super, but plan on being accosted at every turn by the street vendors on your way back from the blowhole. Now I know how a celebrity feels when they are being hounded by the paparazzi.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Long lines snaking around the ship inside and out to get off the ship. Trying to get 3,000 people off the ship in an hour and a half is kind of nuts.

Traveler Photos

Loved our monkey made by Dee, our room steward. La Bufadora
