Review summary
The cruise was great overall. My husband and I went for my birthday, and I wish they would have made it feel a little more special. We loved the taco bar at the pool and the playmaker bar to watch football. We were let down with the adult show options they had, hoping there would be a magician or comedian we could see. Only family friendly options with kids. The R&B singer was great and we enjoyed listening to the Jazz band preform. It felt super crowded, the pool was not as relaxing as I would have hoped. Music was too loud to read and kids running and splashing water on you. We loved Catalina Island, it was a charming little town to shop and catch lunch. Ensenada on the other hand, was horrible. Beggers everywhere and the city was very rundown. You have to pay to take a shuttle to get downtown and there is nothing to do there. Other than some minor things, the cruise was great. The ship is great, crewmembers, waiters, etc. We would go again for sure.Embarkation
