Review summary

This has been our favorite cruising experience so far, we have no complaints, only praise for everyone that makes this operation possible. I really feel like we received celebrity treatment on a budget. There is so much to do even if you don't want to spend much. Everything seemed very reasonable, we never felt like we wished something was done differently. Overall, second to none service, delicious and fresh food, plenty to choose from, lots of shows and activities, superior cleanliness. Thank you Royal Caribbean, We wish your business continues to prosper.

Embarkation

Getting on the ship was extremely fast and easy, from the moment we were dropped off at the port, we were in our room within 30 minutes

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Great selection and service as always. The crew always goes above and beyond

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
There was so much to do on board but I felt it was not enough time to enjoy it all. There were great shows, the gym is pretty decent, the arcade had plenty, the mini golf was very nice, plenty of pool and jacuzzi space. I would have loved to try the on board surfing, the slides, archery, rock climbing and yet we were pretty busy.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The attractions seemed very appropriate, modern music as well as classic

Children's Programs

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The crew is trained to deliver the best customer service, there is about 1 crew member for every 4 guests so we got plenty of attention. It is for sure a really hard job and long hours for them but they always have a smile on their face and greet you. The crew and service definitely take the cruising experience from 5 stars to 10 stars, the cruise would not be as enjoyable without each and everyone of their efforts, it takes every one of them to make it such a seemless operation. Definitely 85% of the cruise success is due to their everyday efforts. Lotfi and Devi were our servers on our time dinning and they were always on top of everything and we would really like to thank them for their service and attention.

Ship Quality

2 out of 5
Beautiful ship. We learned it was revamped in 2018 so it looked extremely clean and new. Everything was spotless at all times even the common restrooms

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Great space! We were in one of the inside rooms so we didn't have any outside views. Not sure if this was in every room but we had an 80+ screen TV on the wall from the floor to the ceiling that was always displaying a live feed of the outside of the ship so it made the room feel so much bigger. It also had a lot of storage space, plenty of storage in the bathroom as well.

Ship tip

We went on the tour of the ship, there was only about 10 to 15 of us that went on this tour, we took it on the day at sea and it's really impressive how everything runs like clockwork to deliver the full experience

Ports of call

San Pedro (Los Angeles), California

5 out of 5
There was plenty of people to ask questions about embarking, luggage and protocols to it made boarding really seamless

Ensenada, Mexico

5 out of 5
We only walked around downtown Ensenada. People were very friendly and there is plenty to do in the few hours

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
It was faster than in previous experiences, we were able to get breakfast and sit comfortably before getting called to disembark

Hello! I’m so excited to cruise with royal as it will be my first time. I have watched YouTube videos and it all looks amazing but I did wonder if the outside TV had been fixed. Heard complaints of it being green or non operational. Thank you

Glad you enjoyed it. Navigator and the Voyager class in general are our favorite ships. Large enough to have everything you need without being overwhelming.
