Review summary

We were disappointed that we spent 3 days at sea and didn't make it to Mexico. But we are happy that safety was a priority. We felt bothered after the situation when we heard on the news that Carnival was also sailing the exact same area and also made the same choice as our captain and cancelled their plans. Carnival gave all of its guests some type of money back/credit for another cruise,

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
I feel that the food was overall cooked very well. My only feedback would be to have all the specialty foods (steaks, other meats, sea foods) personal must take course on proper preparation when cooking it how it should be prepared, for better quality. But overall it was great.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Impressed with the boat and all of the nonstop entertainment.

Disembarkation

disappointing because no one really knew the situation that was occurring. It was a little more stressful than it needed to be.

Perhaps if the captain threw caution to the wind, and docked and let everyone off, then had violence break out in the streets where people were killed or injured would have been the better option? The drug cartels can care less who gets killed or injured by their people, and also i heard that missing Ensenada isn't a loss by any means. I have a cruise in Jan that will stop there, and I will probably get off the ship, but I won't be venturing to far from the ship if I dont feel safe.
