Review summary

First time for us being on a cruise, but already planning our next one. Excellent time and nothing but great memories from Royal Carribean.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Very smooth and organized

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food was incredible and made to order. We were seated at a table that we did not care for and all we had to do was ask to be moved. Our request was granted immediately and with no pushback or attitude.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Had great activities for all ages. Pickleball daily as well as ping pong, soccer and basketball. Along with the waterslides and Wave-Rider.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Comidian was very funny. I would actually pay to see his normal routine.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Food service employee named Kaisad is an incredible asset to this company. If he is not some sort of managerial level employee, he should be. He went WAY ABOVE AND BEYOND to rectify and issue with the soda machines. He changed an incident from a "very negative one" to a positive one with the extra effort that he put forth.

Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Ms Donna was INCREDIBLE as our housekeeper. If we needed anything she was there with it in the matter of minutes. She made us awsome little "animals" out of the towels as well. This stateroom was perfect for the two of us. King bed with a sofa for chilling out. Balcony was nice to have and I would not cruise with out having one.

Ship tip

If your pre-sailing package says you need it, GET IT !!! It makes things so much easier.

Ports of call

San Pedro (Los Angeles), California Did not visit port

We departed and returned only from this port

Catalina Island, California

3 out of 5
Not much to do here other than eat or shop. There is a small beach in the marina, but very small.

Ensenada, Mexico

2 out of 5
Dirty and too much begging. We had some retailers tell us "You need to buy something from me so I can feed my family."

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
A little slow, but very smooth. Seemed like customs was a little short handed.
