Review summary

It was an ok cruise for the money paid. The food was ok, the entertainment was ok, the ship is good enough for a short stay. The bigger, newer ships are better but we knew we were not going to be on one of those, so... Now I'm looking forward to my next 8 night cruise in Nov '22 😁

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Service was great, menu ok, food ok; Not bad but nothing to brag about. No specific complaints tho either. Buffets WAY TOO CROWDED but I really don't like buffet style eating anyway.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Pools very crowded but that's what happens. Not very much to do for fun. That's fine as we wanted to relax.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Shows were good.

Children's Programs

It was a no kids trip

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Service and staff were great everywhere.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Ship was clean. Obviously it's an older boat so I don't expect design to be 100%. It's nice and updated enough that I had no complaints.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
We had an inside cabin as we went for the girls weekend and didn't want to pay for a balcony like we do when go with our husbands. It was small but having the virtual balcony screen did help to make it feel better. I don't feel our cabin was as clean as it should have been upon arrival. It looked like no one had vacuumed lately. Other than that it was fine. Ample storage. Our TV never did work correctly because the screen kept flickering in and out.

Ship tip

Each morning we went to the Cafe Promenade for coffee or tea and it was great. I defenitely think it's as good as going to any other name brand coffee shop.

Ports of call

San Pedro (Los Angeles), California

3 out of 5
Only used this port for getting on and off the ship.

Ensenada, Mexico Did not visit port

We didn't go to go to this port, we went just to be on a quick getaway on a boat!!!

Disembarkation
