This is the second cruise my husband and I have been on post Covid. Our first was out of New Orleans. We decided to try this back to back and actually did the 3 night combined with the 4 night. This was a fantastic way to get back into cruising. I would highly recommend this cruise to anyone, especially those who have never sailed before. Masks are now optional but vaccines are mandatory (masks still required in terminal and ports/businesses). The ship is still around half capacity so it’s a great cruise for those looking for a quick getaway or getting back to cruising. I never write cruise reviews, however, this was such a fantastic experience I wanted to share it. Happy Cruising!

Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Food quality was the best I’ve experienced on Royal Caribbean in a long time. Service was outstanding. They are following Covid protocols on the buffet and are happily serving guests. As buffet food goes, this was Royal Carribean’s best by far in a long time in my experience
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Although it was a little too cold for the pool (for some of us), the hot tub was great. The adult section/ solarium was wonderful
Entertainment
5 out of 5
We went to the piano bar every night and enjoyed it. They have brought back the party on the promenade and it was fantastic!
Children's Programs
We did not travel with children
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
From entertainment staff to waiters, this crew deserves 5 star rating. Our waiter and assistant waiter (Glen and Krishna) were awesome. The bar staff were friendly. I could not say enough positive things about this particular crew
Ship Quality

Navigator is my personal favorite size and layout for Royal Caribbean.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
Cabin was comfortable, clean, and roomy. The bathtub/ shower combination can be difficult for some as it is a rather large step over the edge of the tub. There is an obstructed view from the balcony.
Ship tip
You must try the Bamboo Room. I like the Saturn (classic cocktail, not frozen)
We walked around and had lunch at a fantastic restaurant called Mi Casita. Be prepared for a fishbowl sized mojito with fresh mint. Treat yourself to the tilapia. This is a place we my come back to visit as it’s close enough for a weekend trip. I would suggest checking out for the food.
We did the cantina excursion (beer tasting). We did not do anything outside of the excursion but I would HIGHLY recommend this excursion….if you’re fond of beer. And if you don’t mind a pretty rough van ride as you start with a brewery about 45 minutes outside port and work your way in
