Give the overall cruise rateing a 10, have 5 more booked for 2020 and 2021
Embarkation
5 out of 5
I purchased the Key this trip, and it was great everytime I said I had the Key everything went smoothly, and disembarked withen 5 minutes, they also hae facial recognition where you don't even have to show your passport, look in the camera, and off you go!
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
I only use the dining rooms for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I never even saw the buffett. I only have one drink per day, and that is the drink of the day, which is cost effective $8.00!
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
I did the slides on the ship which were ok, the one with the tube is like a water roller coaster, and the blaster, I kept turning over, at the end and it hurt my arm, and water is always going in your face, so you can't breath very well.
I'm 73 years old so the rock climbing wall is now out of the question!
Entertainment
1 out of 5
Thought I was watching a High School production, this was the 2nd time on the ship and basically the same High School Production!
The Ice show I give it a 5 star rating, excellent Ice skaters, I sat next to a Ice skater at one of the music shows, and told me all of the skaters are past competitors, and it shows!
Children's Programs
5 out of 5
The last time I was on the Navigator of the Seas, I could'nt get my Grandaughter out of the Childrens program age 7. the same with my 15 year old grandson, did'nt see him for the whole cruise!
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
I always tip the stewards, and waiters, and they can't do enough for you!
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Ship is very well maintained, and looks brand new!
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Nino was excellent, could'nt do enough for me! Then again I did tip him $50.00 at the beginning of the cruise!
Ship tip
If you go to CocoCay on the slides, wear a t-shirt the water slides are very sharp, if you go without one I quarantee you will only go on the slide once or twice! Also a neat trick on the ship is if you go on deck 4 walk to the front of the ship, and you will see a set of stairs, this will take you to the bow of the ship which is a defferent experience!
They cancelled Nassau because of high winds, I guess they did the right thing because the next day on the news it said that two Carnival ships had collided at port due to high winds!
