Review summary

Overall the cruise was good. There was just a few things that I realized with this being my fourth cruise that I didn’t realize before. I think I was more critical this time because I was trying to show my husband how great cruises are. I had a cake ordered for his birthday and they charged me money to have it delivered to my room after I already paid for it before the cruise.

The Windjammer was disappointing this cruise. But the main dinning room didn’t disappoint each night. There was a variety of foods that we could try each night.

My room steward and waiters were amazing. The personnel that works at guest service needs to work on actually bending nice and wanting to help people.

For an older ship it was very nice.

Everything was great. The balcony was so worth it. It just sucked that we were right in front of the crew room where they would get ice for the guests so that got noisy a few nights when we we’re trying to sleep.

Ship tip

Bring extra money. They charge for everything imaginable now.

Out of the 4 cruises I’ve been on...this was the quickest disembarkation experience. I was preparing to be in lines but my husband and I were out in 5 minutes.
