Never got to go to Coco Cay. The ship wasn't able to dock.

Review summary

I was so disappointed with my cruise to Cococay and Nassau.  I was expecting to spend a day at the beach (which I paid for) and the ship did not dock there.  We went to Nassau and docked the following day.  If I wanted to go to a beach there I would have to pay an additional fee for an excursion. I probably will not be recommending that cruise to anyone.  It was a total waste of money when you don't get all you paid for.  With the ship not stopping at Cococay, the pool was extremely crowded and not worth it.  I would like if you could direct me to the person to talk to about my experience

I will never understand people who give a bad review due to weather or safety ussue.

You didn't stop because of safety issues with tendering. If it is too rough to tender then it is for your safety. Damn ed if they do damned if they dont. You signed a contract saying itenerary might be changed without notice.

Contact cruise line within 14 days to try to work things out. They should refund excursion money for cococay

Adding an addendum. . I meant to say went to beach and swam for free..plenty of public beach space...

We went to beach in Nassau for FREE . We had a blast. I don't know why people think they have to book expensive excursions just to have a good time. I would rather skip a place if it's in the best interest of all passengers. Humans and especially ship Captains do not control the weather. Just my opinion. .

You just can't make everyone happy. Your vacation is what you make it, sometimes stuff happens and the cruise line can't help it. Don't let little stuff like this ruin your vacation. Last year we jumped on the Harley and did a 3 day ride up the Oregon coast, rained every day, was also the best vacation I've had in years.

Next time pick a cruise that doesn't go places that are tendered, this has been a bad winter for all ports that don't have piers, its not the cruise lines fault. all they would reimburse you for are port taxes, and they own the island, so good luck with that one

Yup, just another person that shouldn't cruise, doesn't understand how cruise ships or the internet work, and that I hope I never ruin in to.

You also would have been reimbursed for the excursion on Coco Cay if the ship didn't stop there. And you can go to the beach in Nassau for the cost of a taxi ride.

If the ship did not go to a port it was most likely due to weather.  Cocoacay may be a port that you have to take a small boat to shore,  that the ship can not dock.   If the sea is rough they will not risk safety of crew and guest in the small boats.

Your cruise contract states that for safety the cruise line can change the ports or cancel some of them.

You need to direct your comments to your cruise line they will not see this. I would go to the cruise lines website and look for a phone number or a contact us icon.

Contact the cruise line. You'll find no help here. None of us work for your cruise line. We're all just consumers.

Why it didn't dock in there?
