Review summary
We chose this cruise for the ship not the ports and we were not disappointed. The ship had many of the amenities of the larger ships in the fleet. Service was excellent and except for the disorganization in Grand Cayman during the wait for the tenders (which the cruise director jokingly warned about in advance), movement throughout the ship went smoothly. It would have been nice if they enforced their rule about not holding lounge chairs on deck, many seemed to only be occupied by towels. The fitness center was very nice and not crowded at all. Our cabin was the largest we have ever had and except for the limited TV channels and no first run movies was not missing anything. Lots more storage than on previous ships. The entertainment was OK, the specialty acts were great, the production shows not so much compared to shows we have seen in the past. The internet was vastly improved. We bought the unlimited package for two devices and it was fast. Definitely worth the money. We were happy with the quality and food choices and did not feel the need to eat in one of the specialty dining rooms.
