Review summary

10/10! Embarkation and debarkation were easy and quick. The crew works very well together and makes for an enjoyable experience. Ship was very clean and easy to get around. Of the 4 others that were traveling with me, 3 had never cruised, and the other only once. We all enjoyed ourselves!

La Brasserie Buffet

5 out of 5

If you are booked in yacht club you've got to try this place at least once! The dinner and service is amazing! Family style dinner, expect even bigger portions than you would think. Flavor is excellent, the desserts are incredible.

Butcher's Cut

The best yacht club crew that I've ever met. Overall, the crew on this ship is amazing. It speaks volumes about the leadership.

Ship Quality

Easy to get around. Very clean even with 60+ mph wind gusts and 10'+ swells!!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Great location. Perfect size cabin for two. Highly recommend yacht club interior for heavy port itinerary.

Ship tip

The crew is amazing! Interact with them and they will provide you with one of the most memorable experiences you'll ever have. If bookedin yacht club, be sure to try La Brasserie! Great new concept for MSC.

Ports of call

Barcelona, Spain

Beautiful city. Easily walkable once transferred to World Trade Centwr from ship. We chose a hop on hop off to get to some of the further poi to of interest. Very clean, friendly people, reasonable prices throughout the city.

Palermo, Sicily

4 out of 5
Not my favorite port but one of my favorite excursions. We chose an authentic pasta making class (booked through Cesarine on viator). Watch for the heavy traffic and drivers if walking. Taxi drivers did bombard us when exiting the pier.

Genoa, Italy

5 out of 5
Debarkation port. The area between the port and train station isn't the best area but the farther views are beautiful. Easy walkable transport, 10-15 minutes between Genoa Piazza Principe and the pier.

Valletta, Malta

5 out of 5
How I wish there was more time here! Absolutely beautiful! Very clean and very friendly people. Rain started in the afternoon and does make for a slippery walk but the views are incredible. Easily walkable.

Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy

5 out of 5
Beautiful city. Took the train from Civitavecchia to Rome. Allowed for 2.5 hours on our return and still nearly missed the ship along with hundreds of others. Trains will change platforms at the train station with not enough notice. Be prepared!! Used Big Bus hop on hop off, busses were running very slowly and got slower. Ended up walking the route.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Easiest debarkation I've ever experienced in 30 cruises.
