Review summary

MSc Splendida Dubai December 29 2018 Hi all first of all this ship is beautiful inside cabins a good size and that’s the good bits sorted the attitude of 90% of the staff was terrible food so terrible the main restaurant was atrocious we went there on 2 occasions both was so bad we ended up at the buffet on 14 not much better still cold and not much of a selection the excursions staff was so bad we had many matters that needed addressing but got nowhere we booked 6 trips only 2 was good they seem to take your money give you a sticker and let you find your own way and find the appropriate coach for your sticker from leaving the ship they are not interested no head count there was people left behind at stops 1 family was left behind at a theme park there was no head count I could go on but we’re so annoyed with msc excursion staff it got very heated at times they had there money and didn’t care after that This was our first msc cruise and no surprise our last. overall I put 2 stars that was for the the few staff that we got friendly with and they also said to us that they enjoy going ashore to get food as they also think it’s bad MSC you need these matters addressing

Yes, I pretty much concur with much of your review. We disembarked from the ship yesterday in Abu Dhabi. They really do need to address the important issues of staff attitude and quality and choice of food.

Some guys we got friendly with had a late flight they stayed on the ship

We had a night flight arriving in the morning we got straight on to the ship and our cabin was ready then went for breakfast on deck 14 but leaving we were on the 3.am coach to the airport have fun the ship is very nice can’t say the same for the crew

That doesn’t sound great We are due on this cruise shortly departing and arriving back into AHu DHabi. Our flight is not until very late at night on departure day , do you know if it is possible to stay on the ship during the day , as it is not departing again until 11pm as opposed to hanging about the airport all day ? Thanks Alan
