Review summary

Just got off of Seaside yesterday...2 adults, 2 kids under 13... GOOD = efficient embark and disembark, GORGEOUS ship, the White Party was the best!, had beautiful Aft Aurea suite wrap around deck and spacious cabin, DELUXE drink package, Venchi chocolate martini, quiet deck 19 solarium deck for Aurea guests, lots of music entertainment all over the ship, cost was good, nightly shows...good but basically the same thing nightly just different songs and costumes, POOLS are awesome....all baked breads or pastries were DELICIOUS!!!! BAD = LANGUAGE BARRIER between staff and us....always a chore to communicate with the waiters, bar staff, room attendant...became annoying. 85% passengers were Europeans.....barely any ENGLISH speaking people on board, LOTS AND LOTS OF SMOKERS ON BOARD!!!!! LOTS OF SMOKING AREAS....UGH, ship movement very prevalent....most nights rocky, never heard one Captain announcement! , kids club was so so....I mean my daughter can stay indoors and color in coloring books at home...was expecting more fun activities for my kids!!! THE UGLY = THE FOOD IS AWFUL...we aren't picky eaters or foodies.....buffet was terrible.....pastas only good item or pizza but only if u got it fresh, dining room dinners were terrible....no flavor in anything except the flavor of SALT, BAR SERVICE IS HORRENDOUS......the wait times were ridiculous......they don't provide typical cruise bar service...they don't care about taking care of u....the service in dining room was good...we had Marsui and Robert as waiters...other than that service is AWFUL. OVERALL= the ship, pools, Miami Aft Condo suite, were incredible....if only they would cater more to guests, get rid of language barrier and SERVE EDIBLE Food the ship would be AMAZING...we are avid Celebrity cruisers....and back to Celebrity we go! Won't sail MSC again unless they really turn it around
