New Year Disaster

Sail Date: January 02, 2009

Reviewed: 8 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Balcony

The ship was beautiful. The room was very clean and the views from the deck were incredible. That's about the only good thing about the ship.

The staff need to be trained more on hospitality and customer service. They also need a chef that can deliver an impeccable and tasteful meal!!!

Pros: Ship was clean and very beautiful views on deck

Cons: Long lines to get anything e.g. dining; reception; boarding; disembarking; etc

Recommends MSC Orchestra? No.

Cabin / Stateroom
Room was clean and nice. Bathroom was small and the shower was way too tiny
Service and Staff
Staff appeared over-worked and under-paid. Either that or they were extremely inexperienced. Need to work on their customer service skills
Entertainment was few, but what they had was good.
Food and Dining
Food was bland and had no taste. We waited for what seemed like an eternity for a really poorly presented meal
Ship Quality
Ship was really clean and beautiful. Also had some really nice lounges
Nassau, Bahamas
We just strolled Bay street near the port. Had plenty of shops that we liked, so that was good
