Review summary

Definitely not worth my money or time 😔. Once we got to Bahamas there was really nothing to do but get in the beach. No excitement the only thing really is just the beach and there are few shopping stores. There is only one spot to go on not like when I went to ensenada that was 10x’s better, more fun and better food!!

You might try the cruise line rep.

Bahamas - Nassau. So many really interesting places to visit. Just a few: Fish Fry at Arawak Cay - a whole bunch of small restaurants. I use the term loosely. Freshest fish in the Bahamas. Adventurous people who love really good local food. Greycliff - cigar factory where Cubano expert rollers of cigars ply their expertise. Greycliff does a traditional English Tea in the afternoon. Bahamas are a former British Crown Colony. Within walking distance of the cruise port are many nice little local restaurants if you want a nice, quiet, uncrowded place for Bahamian food and drink. Try walking up Queen Street and up Hospital Lane, for a start. Walk around the Civic Center. The post office sells beautiful Bahamian stamps. Find the former prison which is a library. Walk up the steps to the statute of Christopher Columbus in front of Government House. Then, walk over to Greycliff Hotel, take a seat at the pool bar, order a drink, and take a dip.

People either love or hate MSC. I was on the Meraviglia in January and Divina in October and loved it. I thought the food, service and entertainment were equal to or better than Carnival and Royal Caribbean. Ocean Cay is the best private island I have been to since it is not like going to a waterpark like CocoCay. They offer snorkeling, jet ski tours. etc. if a relaxing beach day is too boring.

Someone did not do due diligence and the booking agent just wanted the money and on to the next caller
