Review summary

Even though this is our first time sailing MSC, we loved it immediately. There were only 768 guests onboard so we were well looked after throughout the cruise. The lack of atmosphere did not bother us one bit. All the crew were so friendly and welcoming...we actually got to know many of them and have the opportunity to talk to them at length. We enjoyed the entertainment very much. The singing and dancing are of very high quality. We particularly enjoyed the live band "Off the record... On the Rocks" performing at the Carousel Lounge. They are phenomenal and please do check them out if you are onboard.

We arrived a little earlier than our allotted check in time but no one was checking. Super smooth check in process and we were onboard less than 15 minutes later. Very efficient.

I have heard mixed reviews about the food quality onboard. We are food lovers who enjoy all type of cuisines so we are willing to try anything. While the food in the buffet is typical of what you can expect, the food in the Main Dining Room are excellent. Great selection on the menu and we always found something we like every night. People complained about food bring blend/tasteless but we found the flavor just right. We did not eat at any of the specialty restaurant.

All great performers, singers, dancers, and the magician. The soprano and alto singers are excellent. The special trio are great also but we love the live band "Off the Record... On the Rock" the most. They were energetic and musically very tight.
