The cruise was OK not the best but that will not stop me from going back to MSC because I was on another MSC ship and had a fabulous time

Review summary

Overall, MSC is a great cruise line, but this ship could use some more employees. I think that was part of the problem. There was not enough staff on the ship. The bartenders need to learn how to be more friendly and courteous had to wait a long time to get a drink, and then when I got my drink, it was not right, ordered a frozen drink several times and every time it was like drinking flavored water dance team that is supposed to go around the ship and entertain wasn’t very entertaining. Hardly saw them at all. The maid stage at the pool was closed the majority of the cruise it was only open one night for the white party , so disappointed that was not a good ship to go dancing on because there was not much dancing going on there, but that will not stop me from doing another. I will give it a second chance. The kids club was the best part of the cruise, the staff in the kids club was outstanding , the manager was great. There was a guy that worked in the kids club. He was awesome. The kids love him a lot and I could see why all the stuff in the kids club were good. Lots of stuff for the kids to do the kids club not enough hot tubs , not hot tub because they were always full of people especially kids. There should be an adult area but there’s not.

The polls were too small and overcrowded could not even enjoy a hot tub because there was so many kids.

Barely even seen the DJ and the dance crew that supposed to go around the ship to entertain people where is terrible hardly saw them at all

The kids club was awesome. The manager at the kids club. She was great and all the girls were good. There was one guy that works in there. He was just super awesome. They should promote him and give him a raise. He was the best. The kids love him a lot, and I could see why.

The service in my state room was fabulous. The guy was always there to make sure you have what you need. Did a great job keeping the room clean you worked very hard to make you happy.

The ship was great very clean. There was lots of space taints to do and it was very well maintained.

Cabin / Stateroom

My cabin was awesome. The only thing different I would change about. It was the location on the ship. It was in the very back of the ship I preferred to be in the middle, but the room was great other than that very clean. Had a great view of the ocean.

Ship tip

Find a different bar than the one by the pool because the bartenders there are horrible and I hope you’re not wanting to dance or be entertained because it is not very good

I love ocean Cay been there several times planning to go back. I could actually live there. Beautiful island lots to do. The water is gorgeous. I love it.

You must have gotten the ships mixed up; I just came of the Magnifica for the Oct 7th-12th and experienced none of your issues. The pool stage was closed one time due to light rain. And there dancing in every venue that had the space. While there were many kids on my cruise, they were never in the way. Then again I was in Aurea class...

Sorry your cruise wasn't up to par. We were on the Magnifica last December, and ports got moved around and canceled. There weren't enough onboard activities to cover multiple sea days. We, too, love MSC and were on our next cruise 4 months later. Thanks for sharing, and Happy Cruising!!!!!
