Review summary

I dropped off my luggage to the porter and gave him a tip. Once I received my luggage it was already broken. I asked the room service person, he said it was already broken when he received it. If you can find out from the camera who broke my luggage, that would be great. It was very hard for us to bring the kids with broken luggage. I took the travel insurance and I called MSC to get my travel insurance insurance policy number. They don't have it. They didn't give me a policy number. Hope you can do something about it. Also every night there were loud noises (people laughing and talking) around 2- 2:30 am while we were resting. It woke up the kids and was so hard for them. I sent an email to MSC customer service but no one replied to my email.

Sorry for your experience. Next time talk to customer service while on the ship. Now, I would call the MSC main number, and when the first phone employee says they can't do anything about it, tell them you want to speak to their supervisor. If you can't get a supervisor, try a different time the next day. Keep calling and don't talk to the first person but always wait for a supervisor. I did that and kind of gave up when a supervisor called me back and did reaolve my problem.

Well I'm so sorry for your experience. In cruising, you do have to do your research, and the Magnifica is not the best ship for kids.. She normally only does 3 and 4 nights sailing, which is considered to be booze cruises. You should have gone down to customer service on the ship and filed the paperwork there.. The Seaside lost one of our bags, and CS took care of all the paperwork for us. We were on the Magnifica last December for a 4 night sailing and fully enjoyed our self's, but my wife and I are empty nesters. Good luck in your attempts for reimbursement for your bags.

Always research the ships before you book. My husband and I were on Magnifica in April and we absolutely loved it. We specifically picked it because it didn’t have a lot for kids to do, and it was our first kidless vacation. When we take our daughter, we book a more kid friendly ship.

I reread, I hope they’ve resolved this since it was August

Sorry it wasn’t what you thought it would be. Did you take the kids to the kids club? It looks like you just came off, give MSC a minute to respond to the email but try calling as well. Unfortunately, if it was broken before it got on the ship then that would be the ports porters

Who are you asking for assistance? This is a website for reviewing and advice not the MSC complaint department. The people you gave your bags to and broke it are port employees not people working for MSC cruise lines. They have nothing to do with it. Also, how do you expect anybody to deal with somebody being loud after your cruise is over?
