Review summary

Giving it 1 star I feel is much higher than they deserve. Worst cruise experience ever . Warning to all the consumers don’t even bother to try it . Sharing our Family horros story . I have a history of cruising over 30 plus years . Have many cruises experiences. Many good , some bad , But MSC was the very worst ever . I have cruised on many lines . From top of the lines to cruising on the lower cost Carnival Cruise . I say you’re better off w/ Carnival or even the Margaritaville short Bahamas cruise . Cruising with MSC recently. The few experiences that were good during a 4 day Cruise on Magnífica were overshadowed by so many bad experiences we encountered . We bought two Cabins between us and our daughter & family on a promotion sale they had . Tried to upgrade and never could because their promotion they sold them out . From start of our cruise till end we came across all the worst experiences any passengers could possibly ever experience. From Security Company as you board a company which later learned come to find out they are contracted by MSC . Security that you got to watch with your stuff as you end loosing things going through security & there’s no accountability to missing things as you pass through security. To a very Rude front desk purser who absolutely has no human skills . To a restaurant dining room manager that we requested a cake for our daughters Bday with certain allergy request that was denied for un known given reason . To a room attendant that knowing full well I had to keep my diabetes medication inside a fridge in the cold so it would not spoil as we told him from first day . Yet on the last night of cruising while out of stateroom to enjoy last night of cruising. This stateroom attendant decided to take medication that had to be kept cold in fridge. He removed it out of fridge and let it spoiled on a top of cabinet . Thousands of dollars of medication left to spoil because of a very negligence act of a room attendant. To the very last experience were we carried our bags out afraid something else would happen with our bags given the horrible experience we already had throughout the cruise with many situations. And as we ended cruise we came across an old man ground port port debark agent as we exited ship at port who was grossly rude to our pregnant daughter and the rest of us guarding the elevator and would not let us in . And for using the elevator he cursed us all Infront of our young grandchildren and got downright disrespectful & rude with all of us . It was in short the cruise from hell !! Ship was old, dirty, musty & whats worse the overall service was terrible to put it mildly . Only good experience was the entertainment & cruise director. And two waiters . The majority had the worst attitude and seemed miserable at their jobs . Unhappy staff that gave the worst passenger experience passing in their misery. One night the walked in on us @ 4am . And acted surprised when we sat in our bed and questioned it . No reason ?? And very questionable. Watch your onboard account too !! They spoiled my insulin and never even offered to replace it . I reached out to them to let them know of my experience and my concern with meds I needed replaced and after many days I received a letter of apologies. Not even an offer to replace the meds . In line to debark I heard several other passengers talking negatively of their experience as well . Which only let us know we weren’t the only ones that had ran into so many bad experiences . This Cruiseline has spend 100s of thousands on Ads on TV . Trust me when I say . Even the worst ship of Carnival is better than them . Come to find out this Cruise line started from a shipping line . Obviously they have not invested in teaching their staff on hospitality nor human skills . Like I said . One Star is too much for this Cruiseline . People beware . Remember the saying. When you see their promotional Ads . “ You get what you pay for & in this case even worst than that 🥲😟😟😟
