Review summary

We embarked from ıstanbul with a family of four. First stop was Dubrovnik where transfers were made with lifeboats and there was a qeue at the port on the way back. "Once a year" the Venice passenger port was closed, and it was the day when we arrived. No info was shared and the ship moored at the Margera Port where the transfers were made to Venice by small boats for 16 EUR per person. On the way back there was another disaster due to Venetian police procedures. Stayed under the sun (39 degrees) and had an x-ray check. It was aound noon time when we arrived to the next stop (Brindisi) and nothing to see. All shops were closed. Katakolon was not much better.

Ship was very crowded and long queues in the restaurants. Most of the cres were hardly could speak English. I serously do not recommend this destination.

Also, if you have difficulty standing and prefer not to queue, you can always sit at the restaurant at your assigned table and be served.

Our experience was entirely different. We walked on and off the ship at all locations. There were times when the buffet restaurant was a little crowded but it is huge with so many sections to get food that you never wait long. Most of the staff does not speak English or Italian, but they speak both at the front desk and everyone makes a special effort to try and communicate in your language.
