Review summary

Christmas cruise around the med. Great service, enjoyed all the food. Seemed to be following covid guidance and rules so felt very safe. Just poor entertainment compared to other cruises, always found MSC entertainment to be poor though.

The theatre shows were very random. Singers great but no story or cohesiveness. Also the Christmas show was so lame, it was basically the same as a show we'd watched a couple of nights before but with 2 christmas songs in it. They didn't even decorate the stage with anything christmassy

So many lovely staff who were amazing with our 7 year old. Also encountered a couple of rude staff who interrupted when we were asking questions politely and another who took half full drinks from our table whilst we were bowling.

Did a bus tour...it was pretty boring! Think the port of Valetta would be lovely to explore but we couldn't owing to Covid restrictions

I've been on a few MSC cruises and the ships are pretty impressive. I've also got a couple more MSC cruises planned in 2022 so they must be doing something right! I'm British and MSC is aimed at the european market I think. This means the way they operate might not be the same as some of the larger American lines.

Thanks for sharing, what's your overall impression of MSC? I've been toying with the idea of going with them but have heard mixed reviews. My limited experience is only with Celebrity which was v. Good.
