Review summary

A few years back we cruised through Hurricane Michael and had more fun than this cruise.

Check in time was @ 2:30pm - but stood in line for 2 hours for check in.

Very disorganized - staff was very frustrated and stressed out - too many people on the book for the staff.

Layout was confusing - design was dark and dingy. All areas were filthy. Dirty glasses, plates with food on them around every corner.

Carpet was old - no soap in bathroom - never a complete set of towels.

Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, Bahamas

Best part of this cruise with the exception that we did not get to spend the time we paid for on the reserve. Did not get to enjoy the reserve on Saturday, October 22nd - had to stay on the boat with nothing to do. They claimed they couldn't dock due to weather - but the weather was in the high 80's, Blue Sky & Sunny. They didn't even offer a small refund for the inconvenience.

Had to opt out to Express Walk Off with our luggage because we wanted to get off that boat that bad.

Thanks for the review. I was on the Divina for 19 days and the part of the ship on the day that you boarded. I had a great time and did not experience any of the issues that you did, other than there was a shortage of Immigration agents at Customs, which delayed our debarkation and your embarkation. I found a good selection and quality of food in both the dining room and buffet. The entertainment was excellent, other than the 2nd comedian and magicians. The staff and service were excellent. The ship layout was very easy to navigate, the ship was spotless with crew cleaning constantly on my cruise. Wind often keeps ships from docking at Ocean Cay and other ports.
