Review summary

Crew did a great job keeping us safe from Ian. Got 2 bonus days so that was nice.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Even faster than usual. Many canceled last minute because of hurricane Ian.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
By the 6th night of our 4 night cruise, we were running out of many liquors, soft drinks, and such. But the staff was always so gracious that almost no one minded. Of course, there are some who complain about anything.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Lots of pools and hot tubs.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Entertainment crew was fantastic as always. The trivia is kind of lame. Karaoke was packed every night. It would be nice if it started earlier and lasted longer. Went to 2 shows: Autumn in Paris and the Variety show. They were both great. Master Chef was kind of silly. Audience members compete in a trivia game to be one of the top 3 to “cook” on stage. But there was no cooking. They just decorated profiteroles. But the PEOPLE! The entertainment crew is just delightful.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Always absolutely fantastic. This was my 3rd Divina trip and the waitstaff, bartenders, stewards, etc were exemplary. Especially considering the change in itinerary due to Ian. 2 extra days!

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Always spotlessly clean but for some reason I still get lost on this boat. The layout is weird and with no app, I’m not the only one to walk confidently in one direction only to realize you’re heading aft when you thought you were heading forward. Floors 5-7 have no windows so you can’t see where you’re headed. But it’s decorated beautifully!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Junior balcony. Perfect for solo cruising.

Ship tip

Staff is tremendous! Take a plain (not surge suppressor) extension cord. Only 2 outlets in the cabin part. Garden Bar on 15 aft is adults only and has a pool.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
I counted 7 ships that all came in on Oct 1. I later heard there were actually 10. Still took SO much less time than getting off a Carnival ship.
