Review summary

MSC went above and beyond to keep passengers safe from covid. This cruise was in the height of Omicron and we felt safer on the ship than at local stores, restaurants or work. This cruise exceeded our expectations in every way.

Embarkation

Lines moved quickly and crewman sure everyone maintained proper distancing. Took 1 hour to get on ship, which is fantastic considering that every passenger was given a covid test at the port, in addition to the test you had to take 2 days earlier. MSC was very organized.

Food and Dining

MDR and buffet was very good. Service was fantastic in all venues. Limited passengers on this cruise and lots of staff. Butcher's Cut was great as always.

Onboard Activities

Lots to do. Nothing was limited due to covid. Limited people showed up for White Party etc.

Entertainment

DJ was good. Chris, the guitar player and singer was awesome every night. The shows in the theater are always similar. The entertainers are amazing and very talented.

Service and Staff

Servers, bartenders, room steward were all phenomenal.

Ship Quality

Ship is a little older but kept very clean. Some areas are getting a little worn and dated but still looks great. Divina is not a Smart Ship, so the MSC app and other info is not available on stateroom TV. Ot really a big deal.

Cabin / Stateroom

Can was comfortable and room steward kept it spotless. Plenty of storage and deck 22 location was perfect. Everything worked perfectly including the temperature control. Dated in certain areas. Smaller T V screen. No big deal to us since we don't watch TV on cruises. Bathroom was slightly worn looking. Some cracked shower tiles, stains, chips in mirror and sink. But everything worked and was kept clean.

Best ever. Off tge ship and through the port in 15 minutes. Keep in mind limited passengers so things mice along better.
