Review summary

The Good: the food was better at the buffet than I expected. The staff was absolutely wonderful all over the ship. There was plenty to do even on our day at sea. The itenerary matched my vacation plans perfectly. The Bad: This is an older ship, so expect some wear and tear, but it was a cheap cruise so you will get what you pay for. The dining room experience was so-so except for our outstanding waiter. Like all cruises, everything that you do pay for is rediculously overpriced, so make sure you bring your own tylenol, eye drops, sunscreen, etc. The ugly: Could not just sit and relax by the pool because the music blared from 10m am until it closed down at 2 am. They should really take a break from the speakers during the day some. Overall a great trip.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
overall very good food, i was surprised by the quality of the buffet.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
the casino was fun, the shows were very high quality.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
minus one cook staff, and a security guard entering the ship, everyone was fantastic.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
it was well maintained, just a little worn since it is an older ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
All staterooms are small and crowded, if you don't like that, stay at a resort instead of cruising.

Ports of call

Cococay (Cruise Line's Private Island)

snorkeling here was WONDERFUL!!!!! The one-time use locker really pissed me off. There weren't very many places to get away from the crowd and relax. The island is very well maintained though.
Don't Miss: Snorkeling! and the lifeguards are top notch!!!!

Nassau, Bahamas

We made our own tour of nassau, went to Cable Beach, Fish Fry, Adastra Gardens, and straw market. The straw market is not as much fun as other artisan markets i've been it, it was a lot of stuff you can find at Wal-Mart and not enough crafts.
Don't Miss: Eat at the fish fry, and walk with the flamingos at Adastra Gardens.

Pros: Buffet was quality food, staff was fantastic

Cons: music blaring at the pool ALL day and night
