Monarch of the Seas

Sail date: December 20, 2010

Ship: Monarch of the Seas

Cabin type: Inside

Traveled as: Couple

Review summary

I was told that the ship was the oldest and smallest of the fleet, but it was my first cruise, so I did not notice or care. It was awesome! It was more adult-oriented and could have used a few more hot tubs, but other than that, I loved it!

Any time of day or night, they were on it! Yami, our waiter made the trip!

Ship Quality

You can tell it's an older ship

Cabin / Stateroom

The bathroom could have used some regrouting and cleaning

Ports of call

Cococay (Cruise Line's Private Island)

5 out of 5
This was the best part of the whole trip! It had the ease of being on the ship (free food and drink) and the exotic feel of a deserted island. IT was absolutely breathtaking!
Don't Miss: Don't miss the Island Oasis Lounge!

Nassau, Bahamas

Awesome! Geared more toward shopping and site-seeing, but still great! Stop by Unwine next to the Parliament buildings for the best local meal and drinks you can find!!
Don't Miss: Unwine lounge and restaurant

Pros: Not having to worry about anything!

Cons: Not ever knowing what time it was, but who cares! LOL
