Review summary

I took the family for the weekend to celebrate birthdays. Great time, the ship's a bit old, but the personnel made up for any shortcoming there. Alot of activities on & off ship, so not much time spent in the room anyway. Prices in shops were reasonable, kids time covered which lent casino time for us, good hours for both.

Everyone very friendly & helpful. Grandson celebrated a birthday & the staff provided all the fanfare.

The ship was very clean, obvioulsy an older ship ... Carpets well worn, rust here & there but nothing too significant.

Nassau, Bahamas

Alot of shopping at Nassau,. good deals on side street areas. We did the Discover Atlantis tour also - it was OK, though not real impressed for what it cost.

Pros: Personnel were friendly and helpful, alot of activities even for the kids, good choice on excursions.

Cons: Clearer directions for 1st time cruisers. but we caught on.

Recommends Monarch of the Seas? Yes!

What a great time !!

was too short have a fabulos time
