Review summary

We had such a great time on the Monarch of the Seas. The staff was ALWAYS friendly and our room and wait staff always greeted us by name. We felt so comfortable wherever we went. The ship had fun entertainment and just the right amount for us. Everything was clean and we never lacked for anything. We LOVED the live music at the pool and on Coco Cay. What a great trip!

We booked the kayaking trip, but the tide was so low, with me and my husband in the boat we could barely row the thing. My husband had to get out and walk most of the time so that was a dissapointment. However, we absolutely enjoyed ourselves on the beach the rest of the day. They have lounge chairs all over the island and we just sipped our pina coladas and layed in the sun (or shade) and played in the pristine water all day. We loved the live reggae music which did not let up the entire day. Those guys were awesome and must have been exhausted! We also did a little shopping and the lunch RC prepared in the open pavillin really hit the spot. We definitely recommend a visit and we will be back.

Nassau, Bahamas

We had a really wondeful time on our snorkeling trip. The ride out on the catamaran was really nice and the scenery beautiful. The fish were so colorful and we just enjoyed being in the clear blue water. The ride back was even better with free rum punch! We went back out into Nassae in the evening to Senior Frogs and had a great time dancing like back in those dating days!

Pros: Relaxed atmosphere, Live music by the pool, time without the kids!

Cons: Sometimes the food selection was lacking a little in variety or quality
