Review summary

we had a great time. My husband and I have cruised before. We took our daughter for her 21st b'day. She had a great time, it was her first cruise. Food was great, weather was great, the port stops were fun. Overall we had a good time.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
food was very good. The only drawback was we picked a table of 8 to sit at to meet new people to talk to and show my daughter how fun that is, but only on the first night did 1 couple come to dinner and the rest of the time it was just the 3 of us. not the ships fault

Entertainment

3 out of 5
the activities and entertainment of board were very fun. they had a lot going on at all times for just about everyone.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
the staff was ok. We have been on cruises where they were much more animated and friendly(even other Royal Caribbean ships) Our dinner staff seemed a little "stuffy" but efficient. The breakfast staff at the Windjammer were very friendly and fun. My husband walks with a cane and they were very helpful to him. ex carried his coffee and breakfast plate for him.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
the ship ws very clean and you always saw them cleaning. Ship size was on the small side , but easy access to everything.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
believe it or not, we were quite comfortable in our stateroom. We had room(not lots) for the 3 us .

Ports of call

Catalina Island, California

we shopped and ate and My daughter went parasailing. That was a great experience. The Del Sol store is wonderful and lots of fun. A must see.
Don't Miss: Del Sol Store

Ensenada, Mexico

We went to La Bufadora and the market shopping plaza there. It was great. We even saw whales, which is rare at this time of the year. We even had time to stop at the famous "Papa & Beers". It was fun.

Pros: food was great

Cons: getting off the ship at departure the last day
