Overall the cruise was great and any hiccups we encountered were handled or fixed. The food was nice, trivia and game shows were fun, and it was nice to not have to worry about anything from "the real world" for a brief time.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
We were able to practically walk right in and through check in to our seats to wait for boarding to begin. We'd purchased The Key so once boarding started we were one of the first 100 or so guests on the ship. Process was very smooth.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
The Main Dining room food was overall good. There were a few items, like the mac and cheese, that lacked flavor, but most was great. The Windjammer was underwhelming and the Dog House had some of the hardest hot dog buns I've ever encountered. Cafe Promenade was hit or miss with some things like the Polenta Bites and Egg Salad being delicious and other things like a basic turkey sandwich or chocolate chip cookies being just plain bad.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Took a visit to the arcade and spent a decent amount of time there. Unfortunately about 1/2 the machines were broken. Also spent some time in the casino and enjoyed it, but wish they'd get rid of the smoking as it made it a pain to even just walk through from one location to the next.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
Game Shows were more risque than we expected, even when not labeled at 18+. There was a rock tribute band that did a great job and really took you back in time. The juggler they had was decent but his humor was rough and he didn't know when to stop a bit that was getting too dry.
Children's Programs
We didn't take children with us.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Most of the staff we encountered were great, with only a couple of exceptions. Our room steward was fabulous and even brought me a fan when I asked if any were available. Our waiter and assistant waiter were great and made sure to always have a Diet Coke for us at each meal. We went to the help desk quite a few times and each time they were super helpful and friendly.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
It is an older ship, so a lot of furniture appears dated, but nothing was in too poor of shape. I didn't notice any issues with cleanliness.
Cabin / Stateroom

We enjoyed it! Though we actually ended up in room 7609 due to a Royal Up Bid. It was an Interior Promenade View that was great.
Disembarkation

Super smooth! We scheduled what we wanted in the app a few days before the end of our trip. There were direct instructions on the TV to help people like us that had never cruised before. We walked down and off the ship on our own at 7:30 and had little to no waiting. From getting in line to our car was about a 10 minute process.
