This was our second trip on the Mariner and we were looking for a relaxing vacation. Sitting in the solarium area was so peaceful and deck 12 after dinner provided all we needed. I would recommend this itinerary to my friends.

We enjoyed dinner in the main dining room most nights, had a delicious lunch at Jamie’s and tried the buffet for breakfast and after-dinner snacks/dessert. Always plenty of variety.
Onboard Activities

We really only relaxed in the solarium and did not use/participate in any activities on the ship other than the casino.

The production show was entertaining, but it was the only show we chose to attend.

Layout of the ship made it easy to access all areas of the ship. Common areas were clean.
Cabin / Stateroom

The bed was very comfortable and the view from our balcony was perfect. We had one issue with moldy water from a pipe leaking into our bathroom, but maintenance came immediately then our steward cleaned up the mess. Overall a comfortable and clean room. Quiet!
Ship tip
Bring your own reusable straws, the paper ones disintegrated fairly quickly. Also, next time I will pack things like antacids or aspirin, as we could not find them for sale in the shops onboard.
