Review summary

Overall it was a nice cruise. Will stick with Royal Caribbean. Better food, more variety and pool rules.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The main dining room’s food was good, also the Steak Restaurant was delicious! The buffet was not so good. Seems to have little variety, eating the same good night after night, except for the main piece of meat that they carved.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Hot Tubs were over crowded with unattended children with life jackets on like it was a swimming pool. No relaxation for the adults.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Great performers.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
The staff and waiters were wonderful.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
In order to get to the stage where they had the final comedy show we had to walk through the Casino which was full of cigarette smoke. Also they should have a floor for the promenade deck for all of the stores instead of having them scattered on different floors.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
The cabin was great. The bathroom sink was a little awkward to use. The faucet was on the corner of the sink almost touching the shower door. No water pressure at all.

Ship tip

The buffet food needs more variety. Pool area needs rules for children. Kids were jumping in and out of the Hot Tub with life jackets on like it was a swimming pool. Many of the adults were very upset getting splashed and having no relaxation in the tub. These children were unattended.

I think one of the neat things about this class of ships is that they scatter similar places to spread people out. Such a large group of people would crowd out one section of shops or food venues. That’s why I like the fact that they serve breakfast buffets in more places than just the Lido Marketplace and lobster in restaurants other than the MDR. To prevent the feeling that there are 6000 guests aboard.
