Review summary

We love to cruise to see new places and have experiences. If you are a party person, the Mardi Gras is for you....we are not, so we will choose a smaller ship in the future.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
If you follow the signs and instructions from the workers, everything goes smoothly

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The food was just "okay". The beef dishes had a weird texture; chicken was rubbery; fish was cold. Breakfast meats were limited (bacon only on 3 mornings?) Lido Buffet had long, unorganized lines.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Pool, walking, mini golf, shows

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Travis, musician was the best show we saw. The main events were professional but loud and a lot of unneccessary visual effects. We did not like the magician...

Children's Programs

no children with us

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The staff and service was always excellent. The workers work their tails off.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Mardi Gras is a beautiful ship. We got lost easily as it is HUGE. All common areas were very clean and well maintained. The auto shut/open doors were a pain---sometimes they worked, sometimes they didn't. And the elevator situation...ugh.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Our cabin was comfortable and clean.

Ship tip

Be sure and use the HUB app...we used it constantly and you cant book reservations with out it.
