Drink package is worth it for 4+ drinks a day, try all the food, see the Love and Marriage show, havana bar is awesome. Serenity area is delightful for a relax moment.
Embarkation

The port staff forgets that all passengers are not experienced cruisers and we don’t know all the rules and need help with things. Example: apparently you can’t double side print your boarding passes on paper and need to reprint it out right there at the entrance but stay out of the way of everyone else but also stay close.
It’s just the lack of friendly customer service that’s frustrating.

Food and Dining

Mdr- felt rushed to order within 2 minutes of sitting down. I much preferred the paper menu instead of online
Guys was awesome, wished it was open longer
Shaqs- disappointing, chicken a bit dry, biscuits crumble to quickly
Guys pig & anchor- good bbq, awesome drinks
Pizza- never disappoints
Buffet- good if you’re not too picky
Java Blue- delicious coffee and spiked coffees
ChiBang- was ok, wouldn’t go back a second time and pay.
Panini sandwiches- good lunch
Blue Iguana- awesome
Street eats- interesting flavours and yummy
Onboard Activities

Wish Splash Pad area had more seating for parents. Towel drop off and life jackets were only available at main pool mid ship.
Pools were not overly crowded.
MiniGolf was a big hit with the kids.
Basketball ball court should have more soccer and basket balls available.
Bolt was very fun and wished it went around more than twice or that the $15 would be a day pass.
Ropes course could get very busy.
Build a Bear was chaotic and not organized well but prices were decent.
Camp Ocean- fantastic staff
Entertainment

I only saw a few shows but they all were great. Love and Marriage show is always a hit and funny. Family Feud was good but wish it went longer, especially since you wait in line to get in for 40min.
Shows at Atrium stage are hit and miss if you don’t get the right seating. Musicians by the fortune teller bar and brass magnolia were fantastic.
Dr Seuss show was underwhelming.
Wish some of the party’s, like 80’s glow party, were not so late (10:45).
Children's Programs

Fantastic staff! They deserve all the tips you have to pay for the kids (if they attend camp). My kids were raving about it when they came out each time.
Dr Seuss bookville was a great space as well.
Service and Staff

Had so many great experiences with waiters, bartenders, camp ocean staff, room stewards. Not a bad experience to write about
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
The ship was very clean. Dishes in the hallway could be picked up quicker, cause sometimes it sat out for 24hrs.
Design of ship was ok if you could rely on the elevators more. Or if they held more people.
Feel like there should be garbages in some of the popular areas like Splash pad area, basketball court, mini golf.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
Washroom was very small (even compared to older carnival ships).
Wish the pullman bed could be handled by the passengers and not just the steward. It would have helped make the room feel roomier during the day when you don’t need the bed.
Carpet was not vacuumed even when there was visible crumbs on it.
Definitely recommend asking for the blue blankets. The sofa bed is short so only really recommend for kids.
Big bed was comfy. Lots of usb outlets. Good closet space
Ship tip
Plan your room location based on what you want to do the most on the ship so you aren’t waiting for elevators as much. Try all the bars and food.
Very disorganized and frustrating. It’s a lot of “hurry up and wait” which is hard when you have kids under 8. Then being urgently rushed through customs and thrown into another crowd to find transportation.
