Review summary

Amazing cruise. From the easy process of using Go Port and shuttle services, Port Canaveral Terminal 3 check in process, beautiful ship, employees of the ship, culture I can go on and on, but I do hold very strong with the bed issue in our cabin. Felt a little sketch on the ride to Porta Plata city center with the surroundings. Those are my only two negitives. I will definitely sail her agian but with a different itineraries.

Service and Staff

Always friendly, polite, helpful, and will greet you with a smile.

Ship Quality

Design could have used some improvement. It was a bit tacky and under decortated, but the cleanliness was impeccable.

Cabin / Stateroom

This was or is the only complaint I have regarding this cruise. The beds are super firm. It was the worst nights sleep ever for myself and husband. We layed every which way to gain comfort without success. Other than that, it was wonderful. Shower was amazing, fridge stayed ice cold, no nasty smells what so ever. Our Room attendant Pospo was awesome when we did use his services.

Ship tip

Ice cream and froyo are on 16th and 8th floors. Be patient with elevators and don't over crowd, just as easier to take one going down to go up. Leave you do not disturb tag on your door unless you would like your room to be serviced.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

Always a smooth embarkation process.

Grand Turk Island

Did not do and excursion. We took a taxi into the towns center and did some local shopping and eatting at the food trucks. Not to much to do but the salt pan history is pretty neat and wild donkeys.

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata), Dominican Republic

Did not do an excursion, ours was canceled due to lack of participation and numbers. We took a taxi into Porta Plata center and self toured umbrella street, pink alley and did some shopping. City is very crowded, littered with trash and don't get me started on the traffic. Mind you this is in city on the way to the tourist section. The port is beautiful and tons of shopping options with food options as well that are not included in on price.

San Juan, Puerto Rico

This was my favorite! Too much for me to review. All I can say is the beauty is astounding along with the history and culture. Abundance of food trucks sidewalk shopping and store fronts.

Disembarkation

The fastest debarktation ever! Smile and go tech is amazing. I'm a passport holder and loving it. I was from cabin room to shuttle bus within 7 min tops.
