Loved all the dining options available on this ship. The ship is beautiful but very big and spread out! I don't base my cruise on the CD like many people do but I really enjoyed Jacky Tang, he was so funny and didn't feel the need to be making announcements every few minutes like some CD's do! The aerial acts at Center Stage are amazing so be sure to catch at least one of the show's.
Embarkation

Very quick. A couple people in our group had wheelchair assist which was great, saved a lot of pain with walking up the gangway!

Food and Dining
5 out of 5
We only ate in the MDR on elegant night. We ate at Pig & Anchor which was good, ChiBang we ate twice (had to pay $8 the second night but well worth it! Ate at Seafood Shack and then one night we ate the buffet. All the food was very good. Breakfast and lunch we usually ate the lido, did find breakfast at the Pig & Anchor which was less crowded. We did do Street Eats a couple times which was bratwurst or hot dogs which were good. And as always pizza and plenty of ice cream cones. (Wish they were available after midnight). A must do is to go to the Fortune Teller Bar and get a Crystal Ball!!!!! Amazing!
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
We didn't do any of those but lots of activities available. We watched a boy about 6-7 do the rope course, he was so scared but once you start there's no turning back. We followed him around the course with words of encouragement and met him at the end and gave him a duck and a Mardi Gras necklace as a reward! Didn't see the Bolt running a whole lot, don't know if people just didn't sign up or if conditions weren't favorable (we did have some rough sea's and the last day because of wind and rough sea several outdoor area's were closed).
Entertainment

Went to a couple of the comedy show's which were good. And the Love & Marriage show is always VERY entertaining! Jacky Tang the CD was great, loved that he didn't feel the need to make announcements every few minutes like so many other CD's do. The Voodoo nights was great and also the Mardi Gras celebration are the only shows I attended. I did attend the Halloween costume judging and that was a cluster F***! Carnival doesn't go by their policy of no face coverings! Some fantastic costumes! Have previously done a Halloween cruise on a smaller ship and it was well organized, not on the Mardi Gras. They need to have different groups for store bought costumes and then for "home made" costumes. Found the venues are too small for the amount of people they have. No bar service in the main theater, felt very cramped, you had to stand up from your seat so someone could attempt to get into another seat. I usually don't attend any of the show's on other ships that are in the main theater due to the music being too loud and hurting my ears (I have sat through show's with my fingers in my ears because of the music and that isn't enjoyable) but at center stage it wasn't as bad, actually enjoyed a couple shows.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
The staff is always very attentive and helpful. Dewi was our cabin steward, always willing to supply what we need. We did ask for a blanket instead of the comforter and it was so nice!
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
This was our 16th cruise, our first time on a ship this large. Felt like it was too chopped up and they tried to cram too much in the space. Cabins are smaller, bathrooms in cabin's are smaller although I do like the shower door and believe the shower might have been a little bigger but that might have been a optical illusion due to the glass door. It is a beautiful ship but too big for our taste. All area's were always clean and well maintained. Loved the extra space on our balcony (it was one of the balconies where the ship juts out and the balcony was almost twice the size of a regular balcony. Had 2 lounge chairs, 2 chairs and a table for the price of a regular balcony)
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
Love, Love, Loved the balcony on this cabin, twice the size of regular balcony but the same price! The room itself and the bathroom were cramped.
Ship tip
Have good walking shoes and be prepared to WALK, WALK, WALK!!!! The venues are small so you have to arrive early to get a decent seat at Center Stage and also the theater.
Did a little snorkeling right off the beach at the pier. I did see a octopus and a few fish. The water was beautiful and spent a good bit of time just floating in the water.
