Review summary

We really enjoyed this cruise and look forward to the next one!

Embarkation

5 out of 5
I was surprised that the embarkation went as smoothly as it did.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We ate at several specialty restaurants and the food was outstanding. The main dining room for us was "Palm," and the food was delicious as well. Not a fan of buffets, but it was decent enough and had good variety.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Water park on the 19th deck was great for kids, lots of fun slides. If you want to ride the rollercoaster, you need to buy/book tickets ahead of time! I was able to escape to the serenity deck for some quiet time, it was very nice.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
There is a lot of entertainment available throughout the entire cruise. We enjoyed the DJ/music on the Lido deck.

Children's Programs

The kids did not want to go.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
From the room steward to waiters, everyone was wonderful.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship is very nice and was constantly being cleaned by the staff.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Very comfortable for the 4 of us. The balcony was a major upgrade for us compared to our previous cruise. I will always require a room with balcony in the future!

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

5 out of 5
Easy to navigate. The staff got us through and on to the ship quickly.

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
This was where we were supposed to go, but we docked in Playa del Carmen? We had a very nice excursion, but I was confused about why we told that we were going to Cozumel.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

5 out of 5
Typical port where everyone is trying to get your money. It was nice with all the "touristy" attractions. Make sure to review your receipts/tabs before signing! Use all cash or prepaid card.

Mahogany Bay, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

5 out of 5
Again, a nice, typical touristy port. Absolutely loved the excursion to Maya Key. We had a really awesome snorkeling adventure and got to hold a monkey.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
It was very smooth. We had a 12 hour drive, so they let us off ship a bit earlier. Make sure you attend the disembarkation information session, it's very helpful.
