Review summary

I am glad I got to experience this large ship. I don’t think I will pick it next time. There were just too many people and not enough servers or bars. I loved that there were a lot of trivia. Food and our waiters were great.

Embarkation

We were in a suite so we got to get on the ship first.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Main dining room was great. Our waiter was awesome. We also ate at the Italian restaurant and we’re not impressed with food or wait staff.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
80s theme party- had fun. Trivia- always love those. Ropes course- my daughter was finally brave enough to go on it the last sea day and then couldn’t get enough of it. We did not ride Bolt due to it being closed the day of our reservation. The hours were very short (only 4 hours a day). The price was a little steep for each rider.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Because they were in midship seating and viewing were limited. The main shows should have been in the main theater.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
They all remembered our names which is a nice touch. We always had enough towels in our room which is always a plus with 3 girls.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
I felt like it was clean. I always saw people sweeping and cleaning on the lido deck. The floor of the lido deck had rips in it that were a definitely tripping hazard.

Cabin / Stateroom

We loved the extra room the suite provided. This was our first suite and now I don’t want to go back.

Ports of call

Cozumel, Mexico

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

The out of port area we are told is very run down and poverty stricken. The port is very commercialized and the prices are so high in the stores. There was no negotiation (something my husband loves to do). A lot of the stores I can shop at near where I live.

Mahogany Bay, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

3 out of 5
The water is blocked off which makes the area look run down and dirty. The chairlift was slow - people who had walked at the same time we boarded it got to the destination before us.
