Review summary

Mardi Gras was a nice ship. A lot of hype from people that I didn’t see why. Not a huge fan of that large of a ship. I will continue with the smaller ships.

At the same time I see the ship get a lot of hate and I don’t know. I had a blast and would sail on the Mardi Gras again over and over. It’s all a personal opinion.

I agree, Mardi Gras is a good ship, very pretty and easy to navigate despite being so large. I have had much more fun and a better cruise on Carnival's smaller ships. I was not impressed with much of the food on this cruise. I did love Blue Iguana and Big Chicken.

Unfortunately the room stewards are assigned twice as many cabins and don't have an assistant all day anymore. I'm sure your cabin was still maintained. Love the staff.

Agree. Beautiful ship but too big for us.

Thanks for sharing. I have to agree in part, but for a large ship I found it still had lots of intimate spaces. It takes a good week to figure out the best places/times to eat. I hope you discovered the Pig and Anchor for breakfast.
