Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Things have changed a great bit, but still good. So & Hendrix were the best!

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Bingo, Deal or No Deal, Serenity Pool & Jacuzzi, Platinum/Diamond Party ~ I enjoyed them all!

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Comedy shows were hilarious. The DJ was good. The stage shows were breathtaking.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our steward (Phillip) & wait staff (So & Hendrix) were top notch! I thoroughly enjoyed them!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Absolutely clean & well-maintained.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Everything was clean. Bathrooms are much smaller than on the other class ships. The toilet tissue is placed in an awkward spot. I just put a roll on the counter for easy access. Quick & easy fix. I was comfortable & Phillip (my steward) made sure of that. He was great!

Ship tip

Have fun! This is YOUR vacation! If you’re taking kids, particularly teenagers, emphasize the importance of not destroying property that’s not theirs. Security WILL get them (as they should). And PLEASE make sure your kids are respectful of the workers. There were mean & disrespectful kids watching a worker mopping, & they intentionally got ice cream & dropped it on the floor repeatedly! NOT OK!! The workers are away from their families 7+ months at a time & work very hard to ensure you have a nice, safe & clean vacation. Overall, make the best of it. Go to shows. Play games. Go in the casinos. Dance like nobody is watching. Interact with other guests. Make your vacation what you want it to be. Oh, & eat some beignets. And LOTS of them.

Ports of call

Nassau, Bahamas

5 out of 5
My least favorite port. But people really enjoy it. No need for me to rate it low just because it’s my least favorite. BUT, if you do go, try the conch salad & the fried conch fritters. Visit the Atlantis.

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata), Dominican Republic

5 out of 5
I love riding ATVs here!

Grand Turk Island

5 out of 5
My most favorite port of the 3. I look forward to visiting Turks. I hang out right in the port at the huge pool party. The DJ is everything. She’s been great for all the years I’ve been visiting Turks. She’s hilarious, too.

Disembarkation

Easy!! Get your passport!! It’s even quicker & easier if you travel using that as opposed to your birth certificate.

Carnival has made a lot of changes. The kids are another matter. The parents are the ones who can stop all of this mess. My grandkids know if u do anything u will spend your cruise in the cabin meals and all.
