Not as much help this year. We noticed there wasn’t as much help on the ship this year. 2021 things where picked up quickly.

Very good. I have been having back issues and all the boarding
Attendants help me through the line. I showed them I had a handicap place card. I had to stop and rest and they assisted me and for that I’m thankful.

Lido buffet needs some tuning. The fix your salad and on Lido was wonderful. The special dining so good. Ate at Emeril some days twice. Good price. Some in my group had shrimp and grits everyday. Breakfast and dinner. Rudys Seaford I could have eaten there twice. Perfect food and service. Better pricing than some of the big time land restaurants and Rudy’s have better food. Good pricing at Rudy’s. Palms was good.

The shows were in the grand central was very entertaining. We did not go to comedy or Theater. Our young adults wit us Love the Havana Bar. The went every night. They had a great time.

We could tell there wasn’t as many attendance as last year. Dishes was on the tables a little longer. All of the attendants had a positive attitude and a smile.
Ship Quality

For the high number of people on this trip the ship was cleaned. The rooms and bedding was done and clean bathrooms. We were over smoking area and our Stewards clean so hard to keep the smell out. The public restrooms we clean and fresh smell good even doing heavy traffic times. The automated doors are a great idea but too slow when you got to really go.
Cabin / Stateroom

There was nothing wrong with service of the cabin or the the Attendant. Great service.
This cabin is located directly above the smoking area. If you jumped off the balcony you will not hurt yourself. (Don’t jump…just saying. ) We are people who enjoy their balcony and look forward to time there as another part of our vacation.
First, we said ok, We bear it. That was our mistake our ship Margi Gras souled out.
There’s no where Carnival.com or our agent mentioned this was over smoking.
It got worst over time. I went to service. Handle well. This was my statement. I’m not trying to stop people from smoking but when this room is chosen a pop up should said this room is over a smoking area do you want to continue? The customers and agents need to see this warning.
They promise $150 off our bill but full amount on our C C is the full amount. room 9387 is a no.
Ship tip
Book Special dinning early before leaving home. If you are not a smoker and don’t want second hand smoke find your room before you board. We paid for a balcony suite that we could not use.
Have all paperwork ready. Put together in a folder. This port gets you through if you are ready. We rented a car from the airport. With our discount cheaper than bus and we had transportation. We came the day before early. Coca Beach great and good pricing if you go eat where the locals eat. We ate at The Florida and Southern Charm. All right there on Atlantic Bl. Avis drops you off and pick you back up if your are booking a car. We had all day when got back before our plane left that night.
We did Shore Excursion. Tour the city. Knowledgeable guide, friendly. Clean bus. Just had to walk to the hotel across the street. Drop off at market place at old PR and took those back to ship.
Fun to just relax. Some in our group took excursion and love it with Carnival. We stayed at the pool at Amber Cove. Our Young adult love the zip line. It $20 for all the zips you want. Service was very good with getting you food and setting you up with an umbrella. Please tip the young men on the bike taxi taking you going and coming to the ship.
Good News! Carnaval MG has settle my account
With the credit that was promise to us. It just posted later. We were in a room that was over the smoking area. We did not get to enjoy our balcony. Things can happen just share your concerns. Will travel again, yes. They do have staff that are trained and it shows.
Appreciate this information about the smoking area. I wish it was marked on the deck plan. Glad you enjoyed your cruise otherwise. Sorry you are having back issues!
