Comedy club, karaoke, shows and the afternoon pool sun in the fun

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
The ships decor was not impressive however it was clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

To sleep and bath it was ok but that’s all you could do in it. There was a horrible smell coming from the drains in the bathroom. When someone mentioned it they were told it was coming from the drain and there was nothing they could do about it. It smelled like sewage.

Ship tip

Wait a little while, three are quite a few kinks to be worked out still with the ship.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

We only boarded the ship here.

San Juan, Puerto Rico

We had to book excursions through an outside company, due to the fact carnival only offered 2 wheelchair accessible excursions. These excursions were completely booked months a head of the time. Anyhow the tour company in PR was wonderful. Our tour guide Carlos was amazing.

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata), Dominican Republic

It was expensive. We did not opt in for an excursion outside of the port area. 15$ per beer was a lil excessive.

Grand Turk Island Did not visit port

Last minute the Friday evening before we left we were advised it was closed due to the prior hurricane. We were redirected to Nassau which initially I was not happy about but again booked an excursion through another company and it was great.

Disembarkation

It was a total disaster. It took 30 mins to take the elevator down to the 6th floor. From there everyone in the boat tried to exit, with rude people pushing forward. Our airport shuttle was to leave at 830am for a 1210 flight. Fortunately on one hand it did not leave the port until closer to 10 because of the chaos. Unfortunately we had to really rush to catch our flight because the shuttle left almost an hour and a half late.
