Review summary

Overall, great week on this stunning ship. It’s very large so it takes some to find your way around. We spent most of our time on the back of deck 17 so the kids could go back and forth for the back pool to the water slides. If you get up to the slides when they first open, the first couple of hours in the day is a walk on. My early afternoon everyone is there and it’s crowded. That is when we would take a break from the sun and walk around the ship or take a nap! One complaint, not many food options after 9:30. Pizza lines extremely long at night and the other food location didn’t open until 11:30. With 6000 plus people on board, we felt like they needed another food location late at night.

Great once inside terminal…outside was a different story. Too many lines and employees giving different directions. Very confusing!

Great food all over the ship!

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
My family was all over the ship from the serenity deck at the front, the ropes course in the middle and the coaster and waterworks in the back. Always something to do on this ship!

Entertainment

Different shows throughout the week. From music to magic to comedy!

Children's Programs

Was just alright. My 7 year old daughter went twice and didn’t want to go back. Said they did a lot of sitting and waiting.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Great service and attention to detail. Very nice and kind every time we spoke to anyone onboard.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Great new ship…you will be spoiled after sailing on Mardi Gras.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Very clean and enough room for the four of us. Great beds and loved the door on the shower.

Ship tip

Stick to the front or back elevators…never had to wait long. Always a longer wait for the midship ones.

Ports of call

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata), Dominican Republic

We went around the port shops and hung out at the port pool area. Enjoyed the large pool, swim up bar, live music and food!

Grand Turk Island

5 out of 5
Great beach area at port! We went snorkeling here and really enjoyed seeing the sea “drop off” wall.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Easiest I’ve ever experienced. We were out of our room by 7:00 am to do walk off with our luggage. We waited on deck 7 until the first announcement was made around 7:15. We walked right off the ship and kept moving the entire time all the way through customs to the parking deck. We were in our car by 7:35.
