We had an overall great time. We let the little things go and just relaxed for the week.

Embarkation

Embarkation went smoothly. Guest services was quick at setting up our cash accounts. Boarding zones moved very quickly.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

The food was really good in the MDR and Steakhouse. Buffet was ok. Chibang was very slow and food was just ok. The bars we went to had some of the best staff on the ship. They remembered us, were open to talk to us when not busy and over all really nice people.

We were told at 5:30 the wait was 20 minutes, we were seated an hour later. It took 20 minutes to have our order taken. Appetizer came out quickly then another 30 minutes before the main course. Dessert never came. Never asked if we needed more drinks. The whole process took 2.5 hours and we missed activities because of it.

The Watering Hole

This was our favorite place to hang out. It was consistently busy but not to many people at one time. Cornelius and Vladimir were so nice and very funny. They made our time very enjoyable.

We played alot of trivia, bingo and deal or no deal, summer landing and Serenity deck pools were nice.

We enjoyed all the shows we made it to. DJ Cue was the best DJ we have had on a ship.

All the staff we interacted with were very friendly and helpful.

Ship Quality

The ship was clean but in some shops you could see where they hadn't cleaned under the display cases. There is what looks like a pill under one of the jewelry cases. I mentioned to a store employee and he said oh ut just looks like a jelly bean and it was never swept out the whole cruise. The public spaces are too small on this ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

We had a balcony room with 3 people. The rooms are too narrow. There was maybe a foot between the end of the bed and the wall. The mattress on the pullout sofa bed was really hard and had a big dip in the middle.

Ship tip

Get to shows an hour early if you want a seat. Get in the first elevator that opens no matter which direction its going, quicker than waiting. Only use restrooms with multiple stalls.
