Review summary

Absolutely loves this cruise. We must come back on the Mardi Gras, there was too much to do and experience, so did not get to do Bolt or the ropes course. Unfortunately for me my foot could not tolerate the walking in Costa Maya, so must go back to experience that port.

The food was amazing, with the exception of the Italian place, it was very sub par in my opinion (I grew up in a very successful Italian Restaurant.

Very sad. There were groups of staff in clusters of 3 or 4 standing around chatting together. It took nearly 45 minutes for us to be served. Once the food came out the Chicken Parm, (Chef's choice) was thin, chewy, and cold! Would definitely not pay for this venue!

The cabin was pretty awesome, except a tight squeeze between bed and wall to get to the balony. There was no coffee maker and there was no electric plug near the bed for my APAP, so had to use an extension cord which was not long enough, so had sleep on the opposite side that I am used to. It was a tad bit inconvenient

Ship tip

If you had foot issues, like I do (plantar fasciitis), be aware it is a LONG ship and requires a lot of walking. There are however, PLENTY of seats along the way to rest.

Disembarkation

Fairly smooth, we had early flight out and we got to the MDR as we were told to do at the time we were told, but by that time the place was packed. We almost missed out flight.
